Sun after morning rain.

From this window, a young maple,
wet from the morning, and shining for now,
a lighthouse for the wind to come and drink.
For me, let the tree be a fountainhead
in which thirst is wishes each undone,
alight and fragrant,
and ringing silent to themselves
for the breeze to hear.
